Wedding, Proposal, and Engagement Photography

Overview

I’ve been capturing peoples proposals, engagements, and wedding days for over three decades and still love doing them. I know trends come and go when it comes to photography and that is why I choose to photograph your event in a timeless and classic documentary style fashion so that 10 years from now your photos wont feel outdated.

FAQS

The price couples pay for a wedding photographer has a vast range. Anywhere from having your friend photographing it for free and up to tens of thousands of dollars. It all comes down to experience, skill, and bells & whistles. I started photographing weddings for friends in college and never worried about how much time I would be there because I knew I was going to be there from beginning till the very end. I have carried that same mind frame through out my career and still do that today. I charge a flat rate fee for the day so that I don’t ever have to come up to you and say “My time is up but I’ll stay if you give me more money.” I think that is such an awkward conversation to have and I don’t want you stressing over added costs when you just want to relax. I have a variety of packages depending on what your specific needs are. They range from $4500-$10,000 depending on how many photographers are needed, if you want wedding albums, engagement photos, and other perks.

FAQs

This can all depend on how many photos you want, time spent with you, the travel needed to get to location, and if it requires additional things like lighting set ups or park passes or what have you. The starting point for proposal photography is $500 and that includes the set up time needed to get things dialed in with my multiple cameras and vantage points as well as the actual proposal and includes 20 edited images. Some choose to add a short engagement session right after to round out the hour for an additional $200 for an additional 20 images. A separate engagement session starts at $500 as well for the hour and includes 20 images. If you hire me for your wedding then half of that cost goes towards your retainer.
